It's close to the next part of the year on the pagan calendar-Samhain, or Halloween. I will be creating new and exciting items to renew ourselves, out with the old and in with newness.

Samhain is a festival of the Dead. Meaning "Summer's End" and pronounced saah-win or saa-ween, Samhain is a celebration of the end of the harvest and the start of the coldest half of the year. For many practitioners, myself included, Samhain also is the beginning of the spiritual new year.

Currently offering Dressed & Blessed candles, oils and Reiki. You don't have to be a witch, a pagan or wiccan to use or enjoy my magickal offerings.

HEX: Old World Witchery

HEKATE (or Hecate) is the goddess of magic, witchcraft, the night, moon,the crossroads, ghosts and necromancy.
November 16 is the Night of Hecate which begins at sunset

Hecate Aided in rescuing Persephone, (Demeter's daughter, the queen of the Underworld and the maiden of spring), from the Underworld.

In the Tarot, She is the Threes and the High Priestess;
Her gems are star sapphire, pearl, moonstone, and crystal;
Plants are the yew tree, cypress, o***m, poppy, almond, mugwort, hazel, moonwort, civet, menstrual blood, camphor, garlic, aloes, all sweet virginal odors;
Tools are the cauldron, the besom, knives, the key; animals are the dogs and horses, black cats.The owl is Her messenger.

Hecate reminds us of the importance of change, helping us to release the past, especially those things that are hindering our growth, and to accept change and transitions. She sometimes asks us to let go of what is familiar, safe, and secure and to travel to the scary places of the soul.

New beginnings, whether spiritual or mundane, aren't always easy. But Hecate is there to support and show you the way.

Celestial, Chthonian, and Marine One, Lady of the Saffron Robe.
