Dear community,
My son Isaac is the most amazing person you can ever meet. He is a true hidden HOLY PERSON.
G-d decided his life should be different than most other people in the world.
You see, Isaac happens to be a very sick young man. He has two serious, life threatening diseases. One of them is extremely rare and the other is cystic fibrosis, which as many people know can cause devastating infections.
Isaac's health is very fragile.
This virus that is taking people's lives has me scared to death that he will catch it. If he does, he will not survive.
We are approaching the 11th anniversary of our beautiful daughter, Chava Yehudit on March 26th.
We lost her to the same awful disease that Isaac has.
Please, I beg of you, in her merit and his, take this life-threatening disease seriously.
Do NOT get your kids together just because they're off from school.
DO NOT MAKE CAMPS FOR YOUNG CHILDREN!!
We need to stop this awful sickness before it takes our loved ones from us.
If you are thinking that I don't understand what it's like to have your kids home, I do more than most of you can imagine.
In addition to Isaac, I also have a young child at home who has a lot of emotional/behavioral issues. She has nobody else to play with, as we have no other children.
She also needs non-stop attention besides the 24/7 extreme medical & physical care I have to give Isaac every day.
I also have to make passover, work as much as I can, and more things than any of you can possibly imagine.
I don't have any older children to help me in any way.
I am torn between the health of one child and the extreme needs of the other.
I AM CHOOSING LIFE. MY SON'S LIFE IS WORTH IT.
Please, listen to doctors, listen to the community leaders, and listen to your community member begging for her son's life.
Tough it out for a couple of weeks. You can do it.
I do it every day of my life for the past 25 years.
A couple of weeks is worth the sacrifice.
