As a general goal, aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate physical activity every day. If you want to lose weight, maintain weight loss or meet specific fitness goals, you may need to exercise more. Reducing sitting time is important, too.

High-intensity interval training (HIIT)
Set the treadmill so it's flat. Walk at 2 mph for 5 minutes to warm up.
Run at your maximum speed for 30 seconds.
Walk vigorously for 60 seconds.
Repeat 5 to 10 times.
Walk at 2 mph for 5 minutes to cool down.
