I’m genuinely encouraged to see Florida taking real action to test products and shine a light on contaminants and toxic ingredients in our food. Transparency matters, especially when it comes to what our families are consuming, and this is an important step forward.

Florida is advancing the MAHA mission by ensuring transparency for all. As part of the Healthy Florida First initiative, and have been conducting rigorous testing of products marketed for children, including infant formula and candy. The results are being published for everyone to see, and you'll be surprised to see how much arsenic is in these "treats."😳

I was happy to see that my favorite brands, Unreal and Yum Earth, are arsenic free. 🙌🏽

This is how meaningful change happens. By testing, sharing the facts, and empowering families with information, we can make better choices and advocate for safer food for our kids and future generations.

🌿 BREAKING NEWS: A Landmark Win for Food Transparency! 🌿

After decades of legal battles, public mobilization, and relentless persistence, the Center for Food Safety (CFS) just secured a major federal court victory for your right to know what’s in your food! 🙌

💥 The Fight for Truth in Labeling

This battle began back in the early 2000s when CFS first demanded that genetically engineered (GE or GMO) foods be labeled. When the government refused to act, they went state by state, helping pass the first GMO labeling laws in Vermont, Maine, and Connecticut.
The chemical and biotech industries spent millions to stop them - and CFS won anyway.

That public pressure forced Congress to pass the first federal GMO labeling law in 2016.

But when it came time to write the rules, the USDA caved to industry- creating confusing loopholes and QR-code-only “labels” that left most Americans in the dark.

⚖️ The Court Just Struck It Down!

CFS and a coalition of nonprofits and organic retailers sued - and won again.
The Court of Appeals just ruled that the USDA’s rule was illegal and must be rewritten from scratch.

✅ No more “highly refined” loophole - GMO oils, sweeteners, and processed ingredients must be disclosed.
✅ No more QR-code-only labeling - consumers deserve clear, on-package information.
✅ USDA’s old rule is null and void - a brand-new rule must be written that truly serves the public.

🌱 Why It Matters

This isn’t just about a label - it’s about honesty, health, and choice.
Most GMO crops are engineered to tolerate heavy pesticide use, which harms pollinators, contaminates water, and threatens rural communities.

You have the right to know what’s in your food - and this victory brings us one big step closer to that reality.

Now the USDA must rewrite the rule - and industry lobbyists will push hard to weaken it again.

THERE ARE ALTERNATIVES!
I have not researched the QTscan, but it certainly sounds promising.
The Prenuvo/Ezra MRI is a great option if a thermography or ultrasound shows concerning areas. It's expensive, but what is your health worth?

Thermography and ultrasound are the most economical screening options right now, but the BEST first defense is monthly self exams.

That's why I do thermography and ultrasounds.
I'm not 100% against mammography, but I am 100% against radiating my body every year for a test that has huge false positives.

So many of the foods that we think are healthy are filled with toxic junk. That is why it is so important to know what those ingredients are, what they are made from, and choose healthier options. It's not always easy, but it is always worth it.
