A new student recently asked me, "What's is yoga?" and my face immediately was 😳. I told her that's a heavy question that I am not sure you will ever get 1 solid answer if you ask multiple people. I explained I am still learning and I have so much to learn even after learning so much.

If I were to make an attempt based on where I am in my journey, I would say yoga is a mirror. It's just going to show you who you are. You get the choice to like what you see or not like what you see and either do something about it or not do something about it.

Try not to learn it all today. Take in the parts that call to you today. When the time is right, more of it will call to you or not. I came for the handstands, and that's cool because now that the door is open, I keep learning more about who I am. I don't always like what I see in my mirror, but I am practicing facing the mirror on and off my mat
