Isaiah 25:1 reminds us that God’s plans are “formed long ago, with perfect faithfulness.”

For those living with a rare disease, answers are not always immediate and the road can be difficult. Yet we hold to the truth that the Lord remains faithful, yesterday, today, and tomorrow.

During Rare Disease Awareness Week, we pray for strength, wisdom for providers, comfort for families, and peace that surpasses understanding. 💙

Nearly half of adults in the U.S. live with at least one chronic health condition. If that’s you, you’re not alone.

As part of our health plan with Meritain Health, you have access to the Nurse Health Coaching Program at no additional cost.

This confidential program connects you with a registered nurse who works with you one-on-one by phone or video. Whether you’re managing diabetes, heart disease, COPD, chronic pain, high blood pressure, or high cholesterol, a nurse coach can help you:

• Set meaningful health goals
• Recognize warning signs
• Stay on track with your doctor’s plan
• Build habits that improve daily life
• Find additional local support if needed

Sometimes the biggest difference is simply having someone walk alongside you.

If you feel this program could benefit you or a covered family member, call 1-888-610-0089 to enroll.

🎙️ New EPC Podcast Episode: The Benefit of Joining Our Benefits

In this first episode of our new miniseries, Dean Weaver sits down with Carolee Richendollar, Executive Director of Benefits Resources, to explore how the EPC supports pastors, church staff, and their families through comprehensive benefits and holistic care.

Together, they discuss:

• Why benefits matter both practically and spiritually
• How healthy coverage supports longevity in ministry
• Why many enrolled participants may not be fully utilizing available resources
• What pastors and sessions can do to take a fresh look at what’s already at their fingertips

This episode is a thoughtful reminder that caring for those called to ministry is a shared responsibility of the Church.

If you’re a pastor, elder, or church administrator, this conversation will give you clarity, encouragement, and practical next steps.

Today we honor the leaders who have served our country — and we’re reminded that leadership starts with stewardship.

Taking care of your health is one of the most important ways you lead your family, your church, and your community.

This Presidents Day, consider one simple step:
✔ Schedule a preventive visit
✔ Check in on your heart health
✔ Reach out for support if you need it

Our Health Navigator program is here to help — whether you need help finding a specialist, scheduling an appointment, or understanding your benefits. It’s like having a personal assistant for your healthcare.

Strong leaders take care of themselves, too. 🇺🇸

❤️ Heart Failure Awareness Week: Prevention Starts Early

Heart failure doesn’t happen overnight. Often, there are early signs, like fatigue, shortness of breath, or swelling—that are easy to ignore or explain away.

This week, we’re focusing on:
✔ Simple lifestyle habits that support heart health
✔ Why paying attention to early symptoms matters
✔ How virtual care can help you decide next steps sooner

If something feels “off,” you don’t have to wait. With 98point6, you can message a clinician, ask questions, review symptoms, and get guidance, all from home.

January is Cervical Health Awareness Month, and it’s the perfect time to pause and check in on an often-overlooked part of women’s health.

Cervical cancer is highly preventable with routine Pap tests and HPV screenings. These simple appointments can detect changes early — long before they become serious.

If it’s been a while, or if you’re unsure when your last screening was, consider scheduling one this month. Prevention is one of the most powerful tools we have.

✨ Preventive screenings are covered at no cost under EPC benefits.

Your health matters. And you’re worth taking care of.
