Life’s been busy recently! We’ve been traveling a lot the past few months. Here are some of my favorite travel tips to stay well while on-the-go:
Secure the fort. In our house, this looks like work is wrapped and our dogs are good to go
Pack snacks! Current finds include: , , ,
Bring the minis. I try to find as much as I can in mini containers. Luckily, my face wash comes this way .
Be nice to yourself! whether this means checking the menu in advance, investing in cases you love or downloading books and shows, your life will be better for it.
Get some sun! Where ever you are, getting some sunshine in the morning and afternoon can reset your circadian rhythm. Bonus points if you put your feet on the earth and soak up those electrons.
Move your body. Whether you are shaking it off or walking it out, moving your body can click everything into motion.
Identify your guardrails. I am a huge fan of guardrails. They make it easier to stay centered and on track. Guardrails can look different for everyone- a certain diet, step count or daily meditation practice are just some examples.
Take your supplements! Certain supplements can be a game changer. Whether you are focused on immune support or bioenergetics, having a core protocol can help to replete depleted nutrients, manage stress, detox your system, optimize digestion and deepen sleep.
Opt for the mocktail. If you are feeling run down, you can always take a breath, go to sleep early, or opt for the mocktail. I can almost guarantee, you are not missing out, and you may be pleasantly surprised!
Last but not least, enjoy the damn thing and give yourself time to wind down before diving back into the workforce on Monday or your next life event.
