Dr. Hadassah Aaronson completed an undergraduate degree in Special Education with certifications in Learning Disabilities, Mental Retardation, and Emotional Handicaps. Pursuing a passion for holistic health, she earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University
. Following this, Dr. Aaronson embarked on a journey through various medical fields, starting with a post-graduate year in Family Medicine and completing a Psychiatry residency at the University of Texas in Dallas. Specialized training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry was undertaken with the U.S. Army at the National Capital Consortium, including Walter Reed Army Medical Center and Children’s National Medical Center. Dr. Aaronson also holds a Master of Public Health degree and has completed a Hospice and Palliative Fellowship at Larkin Hospital in Miami. She is Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry, Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, and Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Guided by Osteopathic Principles, Dr. Aaronson believes that human issues are multifaceted and complex, requiring a physician to be less an authority figure and more an educator and advocate. The goal is to provide compassionate medical care for patients and their families, while offering professional support and consultation for all members of the caregiving team.
