Let’s set the scene: you are navigating a struggle with your little one - poor sleep, tummy problems, breastfeeding difficulties, missing milestones, “colic”, and you decide to bring them to their provider. You are HOPING for some answers but all they tell you is that you’ll just have to wait until your baby “grows out of it.” Respectfully, it might be time to find a new pediatrician.

Number one - babies don’t just grow out of things. That issue is just going to evolve into a different, more complex issue at they get older. Whatever struggle your child is facing, there is a root cause behind it and there are ways to resolve it.

Number two - as a parent you should NEVER feel like you’re being dismissed. You are seeking help and answers. You deserve support. Your child’s provider should do everything they can to help you find answers. If they don’t have an answer, they should point you in the direction of someone who does!
