Her headless depiction reinforces that Maat's true power lies in her core principle of Truth, not her physical form. Thus Ma'at as Truth is the noble ideal of Wandering Stars, and therein is the meaning of our logo.

Pay attention to this:
.. it's always darkest before the Golden Dawn!

The darkness of this Black Moon will unveil Infinite Space and the Infinite Stars thereof tonight in its full glory, especially away from city lights. May She shine their eternal light into our receptive eyes, hearts, and souls!

A Paradigm Shift beckons... something seismic methinks, and that shakes up loose things inside us too. The New Moon tonight is the perfect time to explore that, under the Milky Way and Her Stars.

We all have these loose things... our various ungathered shadow shards. This Black Moon presents a cubic centimeter of chance astrologically to do a little defragging - an appointment with power at 11:57 pm tonight! It will take but 3 minutes of your precious time to be Present.

The Sun just entered Virgo as I post this - the sign of focus, service, and the Great Work! And the Moon will soon leave Leo into Virgo for their divine Union just 3 minutes before midnight. High time to gather up all those broken pieces, the dead parts, and plant them like seeds in the blackness... in the womb of the great Celestial Mother, and her little sister the Earth.

Farmers and witches alike all know that this is the time of sowing, whether crops or magick intent. Hence the wiccan symbol: )O(

8-day germination on Frankincense (Boswellia serrata) seed. New crop available online at Strictly Medicinal Seeds. I soaked these for 3 days--kinda forgot about 'em--then planted in fast-draining mix in a warm greenhouse. It was cool to see the soil surface crack as the cotyledons made their way to the light. May all seeds germinating guide us to the light.

Indian Frankincense (Boswellia serrata)

Family: Myrrh (Burseraceae)

Hardy to Zones 10 to 12, otherwise grown as a potted tree and kept indoors for the winter. Short periods of dry cold down to 20 degrees F may be tolerated, but for all practical purposes protect from frost.

(Indian Frankincense) Deciduous, tuberous tree to 45 feet tall flowering in showy sprays of yellow and red. Native to India, North Africa and the Middle East. Trees are self-fertile and flowering starts around year 8. Source of burnable oleo-gum-resin, which exudes from any wound and dries in amber tears. Rare in cultivation. Tree prefers full sun and a dry, well-drained soil of pH 5.5 to 6.5. Will withstand shallow, poor soils but grows larger in richer, deeper soils. Fire resistant. Resprouts readily after pruning or coppicing. Traditional use of oleo-gum-resin and bark dates back over 2,000 years (Ayurveda): Hypoglycemic, sedative and analgesic. Used for treating diabetes, hysteria, lung and liver disease, also dysentery. Used externally in treatment of ulcerations and skin diseases. Also used as a spiritual offering as a burnable incense that clarifies the air and bolsters devotion. Cultivation: Standard culture for dryland tree species--soak seed in water overnight, use a fast-draining mix, plant the seed 1/4 inch deep, tamp securely and keep warm, in the light and evenly moist until germination. Allow to grow without disturbance until the stem becomes quite woody, then up-pot, always using a fast-draining mix and providing plenty of warmth and bright light. Water regularly when the tree is in leaf and water infrequently or not at all when the tree is dormant. Even young seedlings produce a tuber. Aerial parts may senesce back down to the tuber during dormancy of years 1 to 3. Aerial parts are produced during the summer growth phase. Therefore do not discard young potted plants that lose their aerial portion, as the perennial part of the plant at this stage is the tuber. When potting up, use Cactus mix. Start with a 4-inch pot, then go up to a gallon and finish in 3-gallon pots. Outdoors (dry tropics), space 30 feet apart.

The interior of the Temple of Hathor in Dendera, near Qena, Egypt, is one of the most stunning and best-preserved examples of ancient Egyptian sacred architecture. Here's a vivid look inside:

๐Ÿ›๏ธ Architectural Grandeur

The temple was built during the Ptolemaic period and completed under Cleopatra VII, blending Egyptian and Greco-Roman styles.

It features a hypostyle hall with massive columns topped by the face of Hathor, the goddess of love, music, and joy. These columns resemble sistrums, her sacred musical instrument.

The ceilings are richly painted, including a famous astronomical chart with depictions of the goddess Nut and zodiac signs introduced during Roman rule.

๐ŸŽจ Decorative Marvels

The walls and ceilings are covered in vivid carvings and hieroglyphs, many of which still retain their original blue, red, and gold pigments.

Scenes depict Cleopatra VII and her son Caesarion, as well as rituals, offerings, and divine processions.

๐Ÿ”ฎ Sacred Spaces

The temple includes:

Sanctuary of Hathor: The innermost chamber where the goddessโ€™s statue was kept.
Hall of the Ennead: A vestibule honoring nine major deities.
Laboratories and storerooms: Used for preparing ritual items.

Crypts and hidden chambers: Ingeniously built into the walls and beneath the temple for sacred relics.

๐ŸŒŸ Spiritual Significance

Dendera was a major pilgrimage site, and the temple served as a center for healing, music, and fertility rituals.

The templeโ€™s layout was designed to facilitate ceremonial processions, with staircases leading to the roof for celestial observances. Admin Aisha Conny
