Hi! Iβm Lindsay, licensed clinical professional counselor and owner at Nordic Counseling.
I am a private practice psychotherapist working in the heart of downtown Oswego, IL. I have been coming along on peopleβs journeys for many years, and I love every part of my work.
I call experiences journeys because that is exactly what they are - a point in your life leading you to the next. Sometimes we get stuck. Sometimes we get scared. Sometimes we get turned around. Sometimes we need a space to work through it all.
I have deep-respect for all who come to my space. I find it a privilege to hear your story, to learn about your goals, and to hold your inner thoughts.
I come from a strengths based philosophy meaning I work with and uncover tools you already possess. Therapy with me is collaborative and goal oriented. I know the real work often happens outside of our time, and therefore I often give you topics and exercises to explore at home.
I am a deep thinker. A creative. A musician. A wife. A mom. An avid learner. And above all, an advocate for calm and peaceful living.
