Today was my last day in the office space I have been in for the past three years. I am grateful to this space and the people I have met through it, but moving on to a new location in Downtown Shawnee! Kobe was very worried he was going to be left behind. 🥺

Last week was Heather’s first week at Baobab! Spread the word that she has immediate availability for therapy in person or telehealth; Thursdays- Saturdays. Sessions are $50. Heather identifies as queer/bisexual and describes her style of therapy as holistic, strengths-based, trauma-informed, sex-positive, anti-racist, and LGBTQIA+ affirming.

Congratulations to our recent MSW intern graduate Jenni Mahurin! Jenni has been with us since the Fall and has made an amazing connection with clients. Happy Gotcha Day Kobe!!!!! One year ago today this sweet guy became a part of our family and soon after an essential part of clients’ lives as well.

Look at who just graduated from Advanced Education!🦮❤️ Next step is the Canine Good Citizen test. Kobe still has some more training to do but he loves coming to the office with mama everyday and getting scratches and love from every client. 🫶🏼

Kobe is so dedicated to go to work that he refused to get out of the car for at least 5 minutes when mom headed home after school drop off rather than the office for admin/paperwork day. 😆🥰

Welcome to the newest staff member! Today was Kobe’s first day on the job. He is still in training to be a therapy dog but trying to test the waters. So far he has been caught sleeping on the job 🤪but otherwise did great for his first time!
