We love seeing our residents get creative! 🎨 Thanks to Monarch for stopping by with all the supplies for a fun door mat painting session. 🖌️ The ladies did a fantastic job, and Sharon even added a special touch with "love" painted on hers! Now they have wonderful new additions for their patios. 🏡

Our trip to the The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art was about more than just admiring the collection. As we explored the impressive statues and Egyptian artifacts, the residents shared wonderful stories of the times they brought their own children to see the artwork. It was a beautiful afternoon of enjoying the galleries and reminiscing about those special family moments.

We believe in knowing where our food comes from and honoring the traditions that created it. Today, we explored the origins of Southern cooking, a cuisine defined by resourcefulness, bold spices, and the perfect marriage of grains and vegetables.

From the history of okra to the technique behind the perfect stew, we appreciate the complexity on our plates. Good food is about flavor. Great food is about heritage.

There is something incredibly special about welcoming new life into the world. 🐣💛

We had a wonderful time watching our silkie chickens hatch, and we are thrilled to introduce 9 beautiful, fluffy chicks to the community! Our residents were involved every step of the way, from preparing the brooder box to gently moving the chicks and even helping them find their water for the first time. It was a heartwarming experience to see so much care and tenderness shared with these little ones.

Helen celebrated her 100th birthday, surrounded by the community she has called home since 2016. When asked what wisdom she would pass down to someone half her age, she didn't hesitate. ' Keep moving.'

Who says you need a mall to have a great time? Our "Shopping Squad" ventured out to the local thrift store today to hunt for hidden treasures.

It’s wonderful to see the ladies enjoying their independence, finding great deals, and having a laugh over their unique discoveries.
