The best forms of Mg for constipation are Magnesium oxide or Magnesium citrate because our body has a hard time absorbing these. Mg stays in the intestines and draws water to it from the blood stream. This will make the stool wet.
It’s an osmotic laxative. If Mg makes your stools too wet, you are either taking too much or you should take one that is more bioavailable(absorbed into the bodies tissues).
