An apple each day CAN keep the doctor away, cinnamon, tooā¤ļø Apples offer many benefits, primarily from fiber, (pectin for cholesterol), and antioxidants like quercetin, which protects the brain, fights inflammation, strengthens immunity, supports heart health (lowers LDL oxidation, improves blood flow), improves lung function, and promotes a healthy gut by balancing good/bad bacteria and reducing gut lining leakage.

Quercetin, found in apple skin, acts as an antioxidant, reduces allergy/asthma symptoms, and may even help clear "zombie cells," all contributing to better overall health, brain function, and potentially longevity.

Ready to eat an apple? Just don't eat late in the day or night, especially if trying to lose weight or battling high glucose. Apples are, however, a great pre-workout, so if exercise is scheduled for after 5pm, go for it🌻www.healthyuadvocate.org, , , , , , , , ,

This is not a joke, or desire to keep people from losing weight. This is a serious warning. STOPāš ļøBefore it's too late. If it looks and sounds too good to be true, it always is. Focus on getting "healthy", and the weight loss will come. This includes: mind, body and spirit🌻www.healthyuadvocate.org, , , , , ,

Let's take some time on this cold Monday to think about our health. No, not just weightloss and what we look like, but "REAL" health. How do you see your health? Do you understand how your body works in this very fast and demanding life? What do you want for your health in 2026, and how are you going to make it come true? Think about it, and write it down. This is Advent 15ā¤ļøšŸ™ŒšŸŽ„Feel free to share in the comments. We are warriors in health together🌻www.healthyuadvocate.org, , , , , ,

Product AlertšŸŒ»āš ļø

I love Vani Hari, and everything she has done to expose our toxic food supply. But, after several smoothies, I can't justify the expense or flavor. It just doesn't taste good, and it is very expensive, and not a daily value.

So, although I will continue to support her efforts, I will not include Truvani on my 2026 product recommendations🌻www.healthyuadvocate.org, , , , , ,

Thursday, Day 11, is going to be a favorite day in the lives of chocolate loversšŸ«ā¤ļø

Dark chocolate is good for you due to its rich antioxidants (flavanols) that boost heart health, improve blood flow, and reduce inflammation. Plus it offers essential minerals (iron, magnesium, copper) and fiber, supporting brain function, gut health, and providing a less sugary treat, but it must be high-cocoa (70%+) and eaten in moderation (around 1 ounce) to reap benefits without excess sugar/calories.

NOTE: Different brands have different levels of sugar. I encourage 85% chocolate with no more than 14g of sugar🌻www.healthyuadvocate.org, , , , , ,

Medical Misdiagnosis: A WARNINGāš ļø

Medical Misdiagnosis is the #3 killer of people in the USA. Fact. Daily, I receive information from people of all ages that are medically misdiagnosed, and treated for that wrong diagnosis; only to feel worse, and not get better.

Why are these instances increasing, daily? Why are physicians turning their work over to those who may or may not be qualified? Why are medical records not current or accurate? Why are physicians taking such little time to resolve health issues, truly getting to the bottom of cause, and not just treatment of symptoms? Great questions. I think if most were honest, they would tell the truth: Healthcare is a great big corporation, focused on profit over human health.

My Story: Dangerous Diagnosisāš ļø

When I was around 37, my eyes were first opened to false medical misdiagnosis.

It was a work day, so I was up early in the shower when it happened. I thought I was having a heart attack, but nothing in my health history would agree. Sure, my dad died at 55 years old of a heart attack, but my life, and daily habits were completely different.

As the pain shot across my chest, every time I took a breath, it had to be something serious. So, I got out of the shower and called a friend for help. She took me to an ER, and after all day undergoing tests, every test that was available, nothing. Nothing was wrong with me, but the pain persisted.

What happened next was a little unsettling, but I accepted it, not knowing what else to do. The ER doc created a pluralisy diagnosis, prescribing a high dose of anti inflammatory. But, I didn't have pluralisy. They admitted it was a diagnosis simply for treatment and insurance purposes. Not even kidding.

I went home with the meds, and got a lot of rest. In two weeks, it was happening again. I called a friend who was a holistic massage therapist, and she told me to come in. She described a procedure that would pull all my tight and restricted "guts", back into place, as with stress, they constrict and move up into the rib cage. It hurt, bad, but it worked. No more pain.

So what was wrong with me? Anxiety. It was a panick attack, and once I realized what was happening, I worked hard to make sure it never happened again.

Did anyone in the ER that day even consider stress, anxiety? No. And today, they would either do the same, sending someone home with a false diagnosis, or tell them, "there's nothing wrong".

There are many doctors in the business to help people, but their employers are focused on profit, period, so they diagnosis, and treat, according to what will be paid by insurance. If they are wrong, oh well. Someone else's job to handle that.

Sad, but true. I have personally received word from ten (10) different people who were misdiagnosed in the last two weeks.

As long as Insurance companies are allowed to dictate care, our healthcare system will continue to put profit over human health.

Get involved with your health Ask questions, and always get a 2nd opinion if you feel like your physician is getting it wrong. We deserve to feel better, healthy Trust me, there's always a cause and solution if one will spend the time to honestly evaluate🌻www.healthyuadvocate.org, , , , ,
