When something feels uncertain, your nervous system reads that as potential threat.
So it tries to protect you by reaching for control.
That can look like:
• Overthinking every possible outcome
• Replaying conversations
• Trying to “figure it out” before anything happens
It’s not actually giving you real control—it’s giving you a sense of control, which temporarily reduces anxiety.
What if you didn’t need certainty to feel safe and you started to trust yourself without overthinking?!
