Trauma with First Responders and Perinatal care are areas of focus in this practice. Hi there and welcome to my introduction section where I’ll discuss my past, present and future journey within the mental health field. First, I started providing case management services roughly 10 years ago at a facility in Tulsa. This led to seeking a master’s degree in counseling through Oklahoma State University. After graduating, I stepped into a different environment that provided ten years of client care, management experience and supervisory opportunities. Let’s skip to the good part! What can I offer you as a client? Well, I have a wealth of approaches that are utilized to give a well-rounded look at therapeutic services. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative therapy, and Solutions Focused therapy are just a few examples of different perspectives on how to treat a person’s needs. A key factor in treating mental health symptoms isn’t necessarily the technique, but more taking into account the whole body system. Appetite, sleep, nutrition and activity levels hold a vital role in our mood and brain’s ability to function properly. I’ve been wrestling with an idea for a long time. I’ve never quite truly made sense of how I feel about it. Conflicted, I think. How one person I meet can be experiencing the worst day of their life, then moving on to the next that is celebrating that same exact day. That’s happening a lot this week. Some clients are asking for extra sessions, while others feel free to live their life on their own, possibly for the first time. I know it sounds cliche, but you really don’t know what someone is going through. It’s all about perspective and timing, some would say luck. Holding a space for all of you is one of my greatest treasures. I’ll show up for you no matter where you are at. But even, I too, am conflicted about things just like you! This is my non-clinical human self talking which I also think is important for you to know. Sometimes we just need to connect as humans instead of therapist to client! 🫶🏻

Everyone make sure to check insurance policies as the new year brings potential changes to plans/deductibles/copays! If you have a new insurance, please make sure to let me know so there are no out of pocket costs. I’m in network with United, BCBS, Healthchoice, Healthcare Highways, Aetna.

If your insurance changed and I’m not in network, the cash price is $150. If that isn’t an option, I will be happy to make a referral.

I will no longer be accepting new clients with Cigna or Triwest. If you are a current client with Cigna or Triwest, we will discuss privately on future care.

Good morning family! It would be a great opportunity to focus on what goals you’d like to accomplish in 2026. This could be spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally. What I to stick to are short term goals and long term goals. Both need to be attainable and specific. For example, if you put “I want to work on my mental health,” maybe we can adjust that to something like “I want to work on being less tired” or “I want to get out of bed 5/7 days.” If you need help, bring your goals into session this next week and we can do them together! Happy New Year! 🥳

This morning when I woke up, yes I thought of my family and friends, but I also thought about you.
Showing up each week working really hard.
Vulnerable moments and hours of processing.
Triumphs and successes.
Even though it is a business relationship, it’s a special one. I hold you all very near and dear to my heart and sometimes, you even teach me new things. To all of my clients, I am so very proud of you. ❤️
