InSight Vision Center is searching for an experienced Optician to join our team!

Qualifications:
* Opticianry experience necessary. At least 2 years in the field is desired.
* ABOC and NCLE certification desired, but not a requirement
* Friendly and outgoing personality
* Works well with others
* Reliable

Responsibilities:
* Assists patients in selecting the perfect frame and lens combination
* Up to date knowledge of the latest lens designs, coatings, and materials in the industry
* Experienced in dispensing finished eye wear and able to ensure correct fit and function
* Skilled at taking accurate frame and optical measurements
* Understands how to work with various insurance and vision plan benefits
* Able to troubleshoot and make adjustments to patient’s frames
* Proficient working in several computer programs each day
* Motivated to work with other team members to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
* Answering phones to schedule patient’s appointments
* Greeting patients, checking them in/out, and taking payments

Hours and compensation:
* Monday through Friday, approximately 36 hours per week.
* Starting pay of 15.50 - 18.50 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.

Benefits:
* Yearly eye wear
* Continuing education classes
* Half day Wednesdays
* No weekends

December 4th marked 10 years in business for Insight Vision Center! 🎉🎉🎉 We can't believe it's been a decade since we first opened our doors. What an adventure it's been! We're so grateful for the support of our patients who've come to us for their vision care all these years. It's been such a blessing to serve you in this small town that we love and call home! We're especially thankful for our talented employees, whom have each helped shape InSight Vision into what it is today. Thanks to their hard work and dedication we're able to fulfill our mission in helping people see their world better. We're convinced we really have the best team around!

It's our first official day open for business at our new building! It's been a long process with the renovations but we're so happy with how it's all come together. We're so grateful to be here!

The office is looking beautiful with our new furniture, made right here in Owosso! A big thank you to the talented Levi at Studio Seven Twenty for taking on our project and handcrafting all of these amazing pieces for us.

Levi made our reception desk, fitting and testing tables, frame storage cabinets, countertops, frame backing boards, and floating shelves. The wood he used is Ash from a local farm in Corunna, and we think it looks incredible on all of these pieces!

Be sure to check out Studio Seven Twenty and all Levi has to offer. We couldn't be happier!
