❤️ Happy February! ❤️ This month we are extending the practice beyond the mat with Sunday Svādhyāya.
In the Yoga Sutras, Svādhyāya is one of the Niyamas — personal observances that guide how we relate to ourselves. Unlike poses or breathwork, Svādhyāya is an inner practice.
Svādhyāya is a Sanskrit word that translates to self-study or self-reflection. In yoga, it invites us to observe our thoughts, habits, reactions, and patterns — not to judge them, but to understand them with curiosity and compassion.
Through journaling, breath, or quiet reflection, Svādhyāya helps us become more aware of who we are beneath the noise — and how we want to move through the world.
There are no right or wrong answers. Just honesty.
Each Sunday, look for a post with a check in sheet and journal prompt. If you feel inclined to share your thoughts, we would love to hear from you!
