Notice of Destruction of Records: If you graduated or left GCPS before July 1, 2001, and were part of the Exceptional Children's Program your special education and psychological records will be destroyed unless requested by the owner before June 15, 2026.

To request your EC record, please follow these steps:

1. Contact the last high school you attended at Granville County Public Schools to set up an appointment to pick up your records. This would be at JF Webb High School or South Granville High School.

2. Come to the high school at your scheduled time to pick up your records.

3. Be prepared to show identification proving the record belongs to you as well as to sign a release of record form.

4. If you attended Granville Central High School, those records are archived and need to be picked up at 305 E. Wilton Avenue, Creedmoor at the Exceptional Children's Office. Please call 919-693-1103 for an appointment.
