As an experienced "Thermal Connoisseur" I have been invited to be one of the speakers at Sauna Days this year.

I look forward to delving into some of the myths and wives' tales about saunas and exploring the science behind optimizing sauna experiences across different styles of thermal bathing.

Examining many of the heritage saunas in operation for 100+ years helps us to understand the underlying wisdom of the ages behind various thermal bathing cultures.

Modern urban saunas are often optimized for export and commercial profits rather than heritage style performance.

Lots of marketing hype is displacing legitimate technical help in regards to sauna design.

Leveraging my education in both physiology and engineering, I hope to help generate some clarity as it pertains to the underlying science behind thermal bathing practices.

Luxury goods are in a death spiral with declining quality and questionable value.

They are being replaced by spending on luxury experiences.

People want to luxuriate. And luxury Wellness experiences are at the top of the wish list.
