*Tuesday 12/9 Update*
Unfortunately, Pryce was not able to go back to MI, and he is back in the PICU. 💔
BUT, Ben and the kids were able to come back to FL, so the family is back together. ❤️
Huge thank you to Jay’s Juniors, Nurse Pam, Delta & our extended family who made it happen. ❤️
Yesterday and last night was pretty rough for Pryce. He is retaining a lot of fluid and not having much output which is causing a lot of issues. At first, they thought maybe another clot was causing a blockage, but they figured out his kidneys aren’t passing urine.
They were able to get him stable enough to travel today and were in the process of setting up a med flight, but Mott’s ICU was full and couldn’t take Pryce.
The fluid overload is painful, making it hard for Pryce to move and it is starting to collect in his lungs. We decided to go ahead with dialysis here, so we could get some of the excess fluid off Pryce and give his kidneys a chance to recover.
The good news is that his face is already starting to look less puffy and they are able to stabilize his electrolytes. But he is still having bleeding issues and it’s too soon to see how his kidneys will respond.
Please continue to pray for him and our family.
And thank you to everyone who reached out, sent meal gift cards, etc. It means so much to all of us. You are our village. ❤️

This weekend was truly unforgettable. The incredible energy everyone brought was overwhelmingly inspiring. It was a weekend filled with endless laughter, radiant smiles, and pure joy. Congratulations to every single person who made this weekend possible - the dedicated runners, selfless volunteers, and supportive families. You are the driving force behind my passion for running. Because of each and every one of you, I found the strength to get back out there this morning, despite my legs not being as fatigued as others. Here's to many more miles of exhilarating runs and a sense of community that lifts us all up.  Cheers to many more miles of joyful running, and community.

What a day! Running group, lacrosse games, kickboxing testing. Cooper’s team won, Leila tested up to blue belt and group was a perfect way to start the day.

I am beyond thankful for this group that allows me to show up as little or as much as possible and still invites, encourages and inspires me. 2am lunar eclipse jog with group and look at that turnout! 😊 The 3pm fatigue wall was so worth it.

Out of town this weekend for my students winter retreat as the nurse. Late nights (went to bed at 1am!) and up early (6am wake up) calls for some short classes. I plan on hitting the trails for outdoor walks. Pray for no injuries, illnesses and just a weekend full of fun, laughter, worshipp and praise! More pics to follow.
