I am over the moon to share that another training series has been completed! I began taking steps to become a doula spring of 2021, but the seeds have been planted loooong before then. I have taken away so much from this training including comfort measures, learning the stages of labor, recognizing what the body is saying, and ensuring families have knowledge to make informed decisions for the birth they want and have a dignified birth.

This was always a path that not only needed to be taken but also something that was a long time coming. The care and support I feel mothers need was always important. My own birth experiences, as well as pregnancies, was a concern that pushed motivation. The care of the women in my community not only enrages me but saddens me as well. Speaking with other women I know I am not alone. This is my way to support. To give the care that I wanted and needed. Moms should have nourishment, shown love, and given the best care especially while creating life. Happy & healthy mom = happy & healthy baby. My goal is to support mothers "from the womb to the tomb"...I am a full spectrum doula.

My baby asked me to make her a bath as soon as we walked in. Just a lil something for aches and pain, peace and love. Just one of things that'll be made for y'all 💜 💛
