With the 2025 Pacific Iron Horse Rodeo this weekend, we can’t help but think of this sweet memory from last year and we just had to share. 🤠
One of our patients, who is a real-life cowboy, was in our office at the same time as this family with two young boys. The boys had asked their mom and then Dr. Murphy if he really was a cowboy. They had noticed his hat, belt buckle and spurs!
Later, Dr. Murphy shared with “the cowboy” their curiosity…it was too cute not to share. 🤩
Their curiosity and excitement stuck with “the cowboy”.
At his next visit in the office, he talked to Dr. Murphy about bringing the boys practice ropes. So, with the help of our staff, their appointments lined up again. The cowboy brought in a set of practice ropes, not just to show the boys but to give to the boys! He spent time explaining how the ropes work, shared what it’s like to live the cowboy lifestyle, and answered their questions.
Their eyes lit up and it turned an ordinary visit into something unforgettable….For the boys, the cowboy, and all of us lucky enough to witness it. 🥹
Moments like these remind us that kindness and connection are what truly make our Healthy Balance community special. 🐎💚💙
