"Malama saved my life..."

Just four days after giving birth to her baby boy, Erica came to Malama Family Recovery Center (MFRC) lost and powerless to her addiction. Now, thanks to MFRC, she gained the skills necessary to live a healthy, whole life.

Erica says, "Malama saved my life, and has inspired me to do more within my community and within myself. I am proud of who I am, and grateful for my recovery. I finally look forward to living a life that I truly deserve."

This month is National Substance Abuse Prevention Month, and we hope by sharing powerful testimonies like this, at least one person will be reminded that the life they truly deserve is waiting for them.
