One great benefit of cupping is the warmup factor. We use a method that is called sliding - in which the cups are either low or high suction and we move it across the tissue.

Body in Gear Wellness has just rolled out cupping! Pictured is one of our powerlifters, . He finds it really effective for recovery from a quad tear.

Many ask the usefulness and benefits in treatment. I refer to my cupping set as my assistant. There is no other situation where I could effectively take the muscle and fascia and roll it up into my fingers for 15 minutes straight and loosen it so well.

Cupping is a good baseline treatment as well as a warmup to deeper work for clearing knots and adhesions, as well as lymphatic flow which can help reduce excess water retention and toxin in the body.

Individuals cupping is useful for:
- Anyone with chronic tension that regular massage won't budge
- Powerlifters for nervous system recovery
- Pre competition bodybuilders. This can help sculpt certain areas of the body via lymphatic drainage and water retention
