Since 1968, we are one of New York State's most experienced providers of care for the frail elderly. In May 2008 a new addition to our family, Amber Court of Elizabeth, located in New Jersey, joined our three residences in Westbury, Pelham Gardens, and Brooklyn. Amber Court offers care, comfort and companionship in an affordable, secure, warm and home-like setting. Families and residents welcome and appreciate our unique approach to assisted living. Our Community Representative, along with our professional staff, works directly with residents and their families to assess individual needs and determine how to best address them. Quality of life greatly improves with these features woven into the tapestry of each day. Amber Court was honored to be a proud sponsor of this massive event organized by the Alzheimer's Association Long Island Chapter. A huge shout-out to our very own Laura LaFauci, who serves as an Association Board Member and was our representative at this event! We're so excited for our annual Halloween tradition! Last year’s Trunk or Treat event at Lake Shore Assisted Living was a huge success, filled with creative costumes, games, and wonderful community spirit. We can't wait to see everyone come back for more fun this year! 🥳

Join us for Trunk or Treat for a Cause on Sunday, October 26, 2025, from 1–3 PM! This FREE family event will feature safe trick-or-treating, candy, prizes, and food trucks, all while supporting the important mission of the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. 💜

This event honors the residents and staff who make their recreation program truly shine. The room was just overflowing with love! Between the big smiles, the jokes, and a few happy tears, everyone shared how thankful they are to be part of such a special, loving family.

At Amber Court, we are committed to the mission to end Alzheimer’s. We are so proud to support the Alzheimer's Association's vital work through community partnerships and events.

We recently had the honor of being part of a meaningful fundraiser hosted by the Alzheimer's Association, with our very own Laura LaFauci representing Amber Court. The rain didn’t stop us from furthering the cause! We also had a blast joining the team at White Oaks Rehab as proud sponsors of their incredible fall festival and health fair, a wonderful day of fun to support this meaningful cause.

And the fun isn't over yet! We invite you to join us for our free Trunk or Treat for a Cause event at Lake Shore Assisted Living on October 26th. We will be raising funds for the Alzheimer's Association, so be sure to RSVP today and help us support the fight for a cure!

At Amber Court, we love to see the creativity of our residents shine! This week, the residents at our Lake Shore Assisted Living community got into the fall spirit by decorating burlap bags and fall crafts. They are all ready for Halloween!
