We're boosting our wellbeing through fresh air and furry friends! 🐾

WPBG took full advantage of the cool weather recently when Bill and our walking group headed outside to prep for the Wisdom Warrior event. The mood boosting continued indoors when Ophelia, the German Shepherd, stopped by to spread love and affection to Mona, Marcelle, Marie, Faye, and the rest of our residents! 🐕‍🦺

Our community has been buzzing with some amazing events and outings lately! We started with a very helpful presentation by our resident Ben, who kindly shared his own experiences with fraud to help keep everyone safe and informed. Next, Program Specialist Morgan took us on a journey to India with a fantastic talk about her recent travels. Our residents loved seeing the traditional Indian clothing and learning all about the beautiful events of an Indian wedding. 🔍

We also enjoyed a very special outing to the local performing arts center in Palm Beach Gardens to see fan favorite Ashley Copper perform his farewell one-man-show. Then, he came by the community singing and dancing along to Motown hits and classics by Elvis, Frank Sinatra, and Tom Jones! 🕺🪩

Nothing beats a little retail therapy with good friends! Our ladies hit the town for a fabulous shopping trip at Evelyn & Arthur. They had so much fun browsing all the beautiful clothes and picking out some gorgeous new pieces together. Based on all those shopping bags they are holding... we would definitely call this outing a massive success! 🛍️👗

Ladies celebrating ladies! 👯‍♀️

We hosted a special Galentine's event exclusively for our women residents. It started with some powerful poetry by Maya Angelou to set the mood and followed with a lovely wine tasting. Kenny Bellieti capped off the night with a fantastic live performance making for the best Galentines!

We took a delicious trip to China... without even leaving the room! 🇨🇳

Chef Rohan treated our Illuminate memory care residents to a special culinary journey. He prepared a wonderful spread of Chinese-style vegetable stir-fry and pork dumplings right before our eyes, and the food tasted just as good as it smelled. 🍽️

We often say that Activity Professionals are the heartbeat of our home. They do not just fill time, but rather provide a sense of purpose and connection that is vital for the well-being of our residents.

To celebrate, we HAVE to highlight our Resident Lifestyle Director, Phyllis! As you will see in this video, she sets the standard for this profession. Her assistant, the staff, and the residents all rave about her because she understands that this job is about dignity and heart.
