๐ŸŒŸ Taking Control of Life, One Morning at a Time

I'm sharing my daily routine because it's reshaped my life and, recently, a friend's life. He said adopting some of these habits has been transformative for him. If this can inspire even one person, it's worth sharing. Hereโ€™s how I take control of my day and live with intent. (Note - not every day is perfect).

๐ŸŒ„ Up Early - My Most Productive Hours

3:45 AM: The world is quiet, but my mind is awake.
4:00 AM: Grounding and gratitude. Get Outside.
4:10 AM: Make Coffee
4:15 - 6:15 AM: Work - Emails, DMs, planning - setting the stage for success.

๐ŸŒž Morning Hustle - Family and Fitness:

6:15 AM: Kids get up
7:00 AM: Light Breakfast - get kids ready
7:45 AM: School Drop-off
8:15 - 10:15 AM: Workout - run, gym, sauna sessions, ice baths, or hitting the tennis court.

๐Ÿ† Daytime Dynamics

10:30 AM - 3:00 PM: Deep dive into work and meetings. Full throttle.
Afternoons: Juggling act between work commitments and the kids.

๐ŸŒ™ Evening Ritual

5:00 PM: Dinner
6:15 PM: Bedtime stories.
6:45 PM: Kids to bed
7:15 PM: Me to bed. Lights out. Dark, quiet, cool.

๐Ÿ’ก Weekend Vibes:

Nothing changes - Rinse and repeat, with a little less work and a lot more play.

This isn't just a routine; it's my guide to making each day count. Remember, to own the morning, you must win the night. Here's to living life with intent and passion!

Just wanted to take a moment and express my heartfelt thanks for all the birthday wishes. It was a day of reflection and gratitude.

In the wise words of Ferris Bueller, 'Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.' I did just that โ€“ pausing to appreciate the amazing people in my life and the journey so far.

Your messages have been a reminder of the wonderful connections and experiences that make life so rich. Here's to embracing every moment and making the most of this incredible journey.

Thank you for being a part of my life and for all the love on my birthday.

In this episode, I chat with a good friend and World renowned coach and physiologist Dan Plews. Just days after coaching to her Kona Ironman World Championship title - a debut in Kona with an 8:33hr.

Dan joins me to dissect the process of how Chelsea went from having a baby 18 months ago, to winning Kona this past weekend. Dan discusses the training prep, nutrition, and heat adaptations, plus the mental prep that he and Chelsea went through prior to her amazing debut.

Timothy O'Donnell is one of only 4 and the only American to go under 8 hours at the Kona IM World Championships. But more than that, he is the man who, at the ripe age of 40, had a near-fatal heart attack on the Miami speedway race course in March of 2021 and still finished the race in 11th.

And just over a year later, he was back racing, and not only racing, but he was on the podiums at Ironman's and 70.3s and has his eyes set on another Kona IRONMAN world championship, where he has been on the podium several times. In fact, the last time he raced in 2019, the last time the race was on, he finished 2nd and went sub-8.

The episode was dropped this week and was a doozy!

In this episode, I'm joined by one of the greatest Ironman Triathletes the world has ever seen, - A two-time Kona Ironman World Champion and the first man ever to break the elusive 8 hours on the Big Island with a time of 7:52:39.

I thoroughly enjoyed this chat. Patrick shared his highs and his lows. I especially loved his reasons why he raced and why he pushed himself inside out for victory.

If you werenโ€™t a fan of Patrick before, you will be after listening to this episode.
