In the Matriarchy, women and children and cared for - protected. In the current system, women and children are centered however they are exploited.

Once upon a time, I was vegan, however I’ve always been event before the hashtag. Forced reproduction and farming of animals has never sat well with me. In order to have milk for mass consumption for ice cream, cereal, and baking, that means cows and goats have been forced impregnated and their babies removed from them.

In yoga, bramacharya is an ethical guideline which can be explored as respecting and practicing restraint around energy especially sexual, creative energy.

As we explore gender dynamics, reproductive sovereignty, and with the rise of celibacy and movements such as 4B, where is the line drawn?Respect of the feminine and children and reproduction are not for just for one species, it is for all.

What do you think?

Share here and in the Love Your Mother WhatsApp group where we are exploring motherhood, matriarchy and more through thoughtful questions, journal prompts, and short movement/meditation.

Golden Hour Selfie Session the Friday Mom entered the hospital.

Moms are really our first experience of the embodiment of G.O.D (Grand Organizing Design). Embodied Divinity providing sustenance, warmth, orientation. I actually wrote a chapter - Ye Mama Ya: Healing the Heart of the Hurts of the Mother Wound - about this within an anthology. Holla if you want to read it.

My mom has always been bombastic - 6ft +, regal, strategic, show/traffic stopper, take no $hit.

Even though a respiratory focused dis-ease has affected her quite profoundly for a few decades, a part of my brain does not/did not compute her fragility.

So, I captured these photos and went home not knowing that 12-hours later, I would receive a call from the hospital saying “you should prepare for hospice”.

Mom and I still have a few things we want to do/accomplish together before our time is up. We appreciate your prayers, visitations, and positive energy towards amplifying her life force within the continuum of the container of our embodied relating. Gracias.

Are humans at the top of the food chain? What eats us?

Join me in this “light” conversation on the industrialized food industry, mass meat consumption, and calibrating towards a harmonious relationship with the cycles of life.

People, Power & Participation - The Industrialized Food Industry

The industrialized food industry is based on mass murder, forced impregnation / violation of reproductive sovereignty, trafficking (moving of mammal child away from mother, etc), theft, and other horrors.

Global, massive on-demand meat availability in restaurants, fast food joints, and groceries requires a lot of murder, tampering (antibiotics, vaccines, gmo), and abuse to meet the demand of 90% of the human population.

This is not a proselytization towards veganism however inspiration towards right livelihood which respects life and the circle of life.

The questions - how do I mirror / participate in the horrors I see outside of me? In what ways am I complicit? Where do I have power? How have I been abdicating that power? What changes can I make? What conversations can be had?

Although I occasionally eat meat primarily to ward off anemia, I do not enjoy participating in the global unconsciousness around fast meat procurement and consumption. I do see the importance of clean, non-gmo, ethically raised and slaughtered meat.

Community, what are your thoughts? What does this conversation spark in you?

Here we go again - another turn around the Gregorian calendar timeline known as a week. With 52 weeks making up a “year” punctuated by what the calendar identifies as January 1.

That said, we all know - our bodies know - that progression as relates to “time” is seasonal and cyclical, and the new year is in Spring when life below the surface reappears above.

All that to say, as we navigate “artificial time” via the Gregorian calendar, our body mind appreciates real presence to stay connected to what is true.

That’s why I invite you to join me tonight and this week for free, embodiment based experiences and conversations that connect you with breath, body, and real-time via the present moment.

Join me and invite your friends. All events are free:

Energy speaks louder than words and living artfully is true medicine.

Cultivate your energy. Become aware of the subtle shifts from emotion to emotion, trigger to emotion, thought to action.

Seek to respond rather than react yet hold a wide hoop of compassion for yourself and others.

Create space each day for moving the body, being creative, and communicating with the Creator.

Seek alignment and everything superfluous will fall away.

A Wise Woman is a Changing Woman

Celebrating this dance of life and all the changes that come with it

This Young Elder notices a transition in collagen and elasticity along with a new expanse of mind and mouth energy that doesn’t give a f*ck - She says what needs to be said

An openness, a strength

A free fall, a letting go

The web that she weaves - the net which will catch her - expresses a life well loved and lived from the Divine’s knitting in her mother’s womb, to the future dissolve of bones to dust spread across the Earth by its spirit - the wind

When hard times come, remember the poet Mary Oliver’s wisdom: “Keep some room in your heart for the unimaginable.” 🌀

In our hyperconnected yet disconnected world, we’ve become programmed in default mode - scheduled, pre-planned, controlled. However, the most profound experiences happen when we step out of this mode and into synchrodestiny.

Synchrodestiny: when meaningful coincidences align perfectly with divine timing, creating magic beyond what your logical mind could ever plan.

This is why travel - especially sacred travel (a pilgrimage of sorts) - is medicine for the modern soul. When we leave behind our routines and step into new landscapes, we:

🌊 Break free from default patterns that keep us stuck
🌊 Open ourselves to the unpredictable flow of life
🌊 Connect to natural rhythms our bodies inherently understand
🌊 Create space for meaningful coincidences to appear
🌊 Allow our nervous systems to reset and remember their wisdom

The ancient Mayans understand this deep connection between nature, divine timing, and human consciousness. They built sacred sites aligned with cosmic cycles, creating portals where heaven and earth dance together.

This is why the Sacred Rhythms retreat in Tulum (January 15-22, 2026) is more than just a vacation - it’s a pilgrimage into synchrodestiny. Link in bio. Secure your space.

In this sacred container, your nervous system remembers its innate wisdom. Your body softens. Your heart opens to the unimaginable.
