The Gables of Palm Harbor partnered with a local organization, Senior Helpers, to bring the Virtual Dementia Bus to the community.

Many of our care associates participated in the event to learn how to be an even better caregiver to the residents living with dementia by walking in their shoes. The team explained the disease process and simulated what life is like through the lens of those with Alzheimer’s disease and other types of dementia.
