Our green onions are going nuts! 🌱 I recently learned that if you put your little green onion butts in water after using the green part, it sets roots and regenerates itself. Like really fast! You can let them cycle out a good couple times before having to buy new. Not that green Onions are expensive but you get more bang for you buck and produce less food waste. Can’t wait to use these babies tonight!

It’s a little nippy outside and we have loads of produce and these fun miscellaneous Flageolet beans I picked up from a very bare grocery store so we’re making a soup! If anything with this quarantine, we’re getting a little more creative with our cooking. Fun fact: These beans originate from France and are considered the ‘Caviar of beans’ due to their subtle flavor and high esteem regarded by chefs. Who knew? Well, we shall see!

Well lunch was pretty fantastic! I was in a deep cleaning frenzy only to be surprised with a lovely outdoor lunch spread by my husband using some of our new .line.harvest produce and wine. Thank god for moments likes these right now ✨

Well this was a nice reminder this morning! We’ve all been feeling the anxiety, the uncertainty, that doom and gloom lately but waking up today and getting this picture from my husband from his work commute this morning gave me a little more hope and positivity. It’s easy to get wrapped up in the chaos but it’s a nice reminder that it’ll all be ok! Just got to get through this storm before we can get to the other side of the rainbow ❤️ Oh yea and Happy St. Patrick’s Day - don’t think this could be any more fitting lol 🍀

So I got this orchid for my birthday last April and slowly the blooms fell off and it went dormant. I persevered and took really good care of it and holy smokes, it has two new blooms with lots of new buds!! GUYS THIS IS A BIG DEAL! I can’t keep any plant alive. Did not inherit my grandmothers green thumb. But here I am, living that orchid mom life. This is exciting stuff - Happy Friday! ✨
