We hope everyone had a fun Super Bowl Sunday! Our residents sure did! We hosted a Super Bowl Party in the dining room where everyone could watch it together and cheer on their teams. The kitchen staff did a great job making an assortment of different foods to enjoy during the game. There were people cheering, clapping, and at times booing at the tv. They had a great time and many requested to do it again next year!

Every Saturday we gather in the Atrium and play Pictionary. It’s one of our more popular games because it always results in a lot of laughs at trying to guess the drawing. Try to guess some of these!

Shoutout to Rancho Village’s Maintenance Technician, Jose! This past weekend he hosted an ice cream and painting social with our residents. He did did a step by step walkthrough with our them on how to create this beautiful painting of the night sky. He was such a great teacher and all paintings turned out wonderfully!

A special thank you to Grammy Award Winning Violinist Alyson Montez for coming to perform for our residents yesterday. She performed a beautiful sounding assortment of both classic and modern hits. Our residents absolutely enjoyed the show and would not stop praising her. They are already requesting to have her come back!

We are very excited and proud to announce that one of our residents, Patricia Skoog, has been working on a book for a few years and is now published and available to buy on Amazon! She has been working so hard at this and getting a book published at this stage in her life is an extraordinary accomplishment. Destroyed and Survived is a memoir about her life, the hardships she has faced and how she has been able to heal from it. We are so proud of her and we look forward to scheduling a book signing in the future!

Happy New Year from all of us at Rancho Village! We rang in 2026 last night with a 70s disco party! Everyone showed off their dance moves and some even dressed up in disco attire! We ended the night with a countdown and shot off confetti as we all yelled “Happy New Year!”Special thanks to Ares Entertainment for providing the music, and our kitchen staff for the snacks and drinks! Also a huge thank you to our residents and staff for making 2025 a fun year. Here’s to 2026!

Happy Holidays from all of us here at Rancho Village! We hope everyone had as special of a celebration as our residents did today. Many of them had their friends and families come in to enjoy holiday music and a special lunch prepared by our kitchen staff Beef Pot Roast was on the menu and it was delicious!

Big thank you to the band String and a Prayer for putting on a Christmas Concert for our residents! They are always so talented and so friendly. They sang so many classic Christmas Carols and even had residents singing along as well!

We want to take the time to honor one of our staff members. Jorge is a member of our kitchen staff and has become such a special part of the Rancho Village Family. He started here 2 years ago and has stood out with his kindness and outgoing personality. But what he is most famous for are his desserts. He was not much of a baker before, but after working in our kitchen, he was inspired to experiment with some recipes. This decision ended up paying off because his desserts have become such a big hit at our community. Multiple days of the week, our head chef lets Jorge decide what desserts to put on the menu and it always gets praise from the residents. He really enjoys the feedback and now he even bakes at his house! It’s because of this that we are proud to call him our new Employee of the Quarter. Thank you for all you do Jorge!

Today at our Holiday Soirée Social Series, we put on a winter themed ball! Residents, Staff, and Guests all joined in and danced to holiday music classics while enjoying baked treats, hot chocolate, and Eggnog. A special thank you to singer Angelo Divino for performing for us. He said that this was the most fun he has ever had performing at a senior community because they even got him dancing with them!
