Look how talented our residents are! We spent the afternoon making wreaths for the fall season and it was a fun time. It resulted in so many different and unique wreath designs, and they can’t wait to hang them on their doors.

Come have fun at our Car Show/Trunk or Treat event! Come see some nice looking vehicles and our vendors who will be advertising their businesses and selling products! We hope you bring your kids all dressed up in their costumes too!

At our Page Turners Social Series, we had a special presentation from one of our residents, Patricia. She has spent years writing a book that is a true story about her life, and she is ready to have it published real soon! She talked to us about the inspiration, backstory of the book, did some readings, and did a Q&A after. Our residents were super engaged and we send a huge congratulations on on her on this achievement. The kitchen also made some tasty snacks for everyone to enjoy during the presentation and we also raffled off some cute book related prizes!

We love our veterans at Rancho Village! The first Thursday of every month we reserve a row in our dining room for our veteran residents and invite outside veterans to join us for Breakfast. It is always so nice to see our veterans get recognized and to have guests come and interact with everyone.

Come and Join us for lunch tomorrow at 12:00 for our monthly “Taste of Holiday” series! This month will be a special Guatemalan themed meal that includes, Tostones, Guatemalan Beef Enchiladas, and Tres Leches Cake for dessert! Guatemalan cuisine has a strong Mayan influence fused with Spanish flavors. It’s also known for being the birthplace of Chocolate. So come and enjoy! We will also be showing the travel documentary “Land of Contrasts” later in the afternoon to further immerse viewers in the culture.

Residents and guests had a wonderful time today at our Casino Royale Social Series! During lunch, they were treated by a fantastic performance by Elvis! Afterwards, they went into our atrium and played some fun games! They played Roulette, Poker, Blackjack, and we had a human slot machine! Thank you to Desert Canyon Post Acute for donating one of our raffle prizes, and thank you to Care Rite for providing drinks and being part of our Slot Machine!

We hosted a vaccination clinic today! Thank you to Albertsons and CVS for coming in and making sure our residents are healthy and up to date!

Today was a very special day at Rancho Village. Everyone wish Lois a Happy 100th Birthday! Lois is one of our most beloved residents and we wanted to make this day extra special for her. We decorated the dining room, her family brought a big cake, and we had a great performance by singer Tony Scaglione. Our dining room was extra full today of people who wanted to help Lois celebrate this milestone. Happy Birthday Lois! We love you!

We started a Wii Bowling group this week! Our residents had a blast bowling in our activity room. It took some of them a bit to understand how it worked, but after that, they started bowling strikes! Nonstop cheering and laughter from all participants. They can’t wait for the next game!

Feelin lucky? Join us on Thursday September 18th for our Casino Royal Social Series! Enjoy specially prepared food and treats while playing some casino games for prizes. An Elvis impersonator will also be in the building during lunchtime to put on a great show for everyone!” All are welcome so please RSVP if you want to be a part of this special day.

We would like to introduce you to Bernard. He has been living at Rancho Village since January and is one of our most active residents. He is always participating in our games, and events, and is not afraid to walk up to a new resident and say hello. He is always full of ideas and is constantly talking about different events we could put on. It is because of this that he has been chosen to be one of our resident ambassadors. Being an ambassador requires being fun loving and outgoing, and that’s exactly who Bernard is. Thank you for all you do Bernard. He is a veteran as well so thank you for your service!

Our Residents, Guests, and Staff had a great time during our Great Outdoors Social Series! They enjoyed a s’mores and chocolate fountain bar, and then watched a fantastic reptile and insect show. We want to give a very special thanks to Warmhearted Reptiles for helping make the day special for them. They were fun, enthusiastic, and very educational. The Residents haven’t stopped talking about them. Some of them were even brave enough to hold a Ball Python around their neck!
