Success depends on YOU. 💪 I don’t mean to put too much pressure on you but it’s the truth!

If you really want to detoxify your life then you need to be intentional about it. 👍 You need to be proactively making changes in what you eat, what you bring into your home, and what you do to reduce your toxin exposure.

It can be a big lifestyle change but when you’re determined and willing to put in the time, it’s doable! (Trust me, I’m speaking from experience!) 😁

Turkey Noodle Soup!

I tried this last year with our leftovers and the overall feedback from my family was that it had more flavour than my chicken version! 🥳 I was VERY happy to hear that!

Don’t forget, you can replace chicken in any of your favorite clean-eating recipes with turkey to use up leftovers!

🌟 Toss the takeout containers.

🌟 Switch to Beeswax Wrap to preserve your food.

🌟 Use plastic-free dish soap! (Did you even know some dish soaps contained plastic?!)

Bonus points for doing your research and finding the best, local places to recycle your old plastic!

Please don’t let that overwhelming feeling stop you from trying! 🙏 I spoke earlier this week about setting an end goal to stay on track but I want to acknowledge that this big, far-off goal can make your to-do list seem endless!

If you feel overwhelmed, to make things feel more achievable, I want you to take a deep breath and figure out the least complicated step you can take that will bring that goal closer. 🥰

It doesn’t have to be a big step, as long as you don’t give up! Small progress is still progress! 💪

Do you want to know the first step in toxin reduction? 🤔 It’s setting an end goal. 🎯

Toxin reduction is a combination of simple actions that add up to whole lifestyle changes. It’s a big job, not something that can happen overnight.

Beginning with a clear goal is key to staying on track and maintaining good habits that will bring about long-lasting change. 👏 But how do you set your end goal?

I want you to think about WHY you’re reducing toxins. Do you want to combat a specific health concern or medical condition? Maybe you simply want to improve your overall health or prevent issues from arising in the future.

When you have that reason at the forefront of your mind, it can be very motivating! It’s also a great way to measure your progress as time goes on. 📈

🗯 Truthfully, no. Unless I have no other option. Let me tell you why…

At home, we drink fresh, filtered water from our well. 💧 It’s refreshing and provides all the nutrients I need without me having to worry about what has been added to it.

With bottled water from the store, I know there’s always a chance it's been exposed to heat, so I don’t like to take the risk.

Instead, I use a glass or stainless-steel water bottle when I want to take a drink with me anywhere!

Knowing the impact that toxins have had on my life. I’d rather avoid all potential toxins where possible. I can do that quite easily when it comes to water, so I do!

👀 There’s no one-size fits all approach to toxin reduction! 🤷‍♀️ Let’s say you’re dealing with heavy metal poisoning; your goals are going to look vastly different to someone who is trying to balance their hormones.

So, we have to work in different ways. 👍 Being a coach means using my skills and experience to help you on your unique toxin-reduction journey. It doesn’t mean I’m going to be like the ‘toxin police’ telling you what you can and can’t do! 😅

My priority is to give you the freedom to set your own goals and choose what you focus on. Then we can work together to make progress towards the happier, healthier future you want to create!

My Energy Boosting Parfait

✨ 1 Cup of vanilla-coconut yogurt
✨ ¼ Cup of granola
✨ ½ Cup of mixed berries

Simply layer the yogurt, granola, and fruit in a bowl, and enjoy!

👍 or 👎 How have you been feeling lately? If you’ve been a bit under the weather recently, you may be fighting an overload of toxins.

Symptoms of toxin overload aren’t commonly known so if you have any of these symptoms:

- Headaches
- Tiredness
- Difficulty Sleeping

Toxin reduction isn’t an overnight job, it’s an ongoing process and I know this can make it difficult for some people which is why it’s important to me that you’re reminded to keep taking small steps. 💪

🥱Let me tell you, a good night's sleep can do you the world of good! 😴 Luckily, I have the perfect DIY for you today! 👇

Sleep Easy Epsom Salt Bath

🛁 1 Cup Epsom Salts
🛁 ½ Cup Baking Soda
🛁 6-8 Drops of Essential Oil (I like to use Lavender, Bergamot, Chamomile, Cedarwood, or Clary Sage!)

Mix all your ingredients in a glass container then add them to warm bath water. Stir them in and soak for 15-20 minutes before bed!

Soaking in warm water can help you to wind down, relax your muscles (and of course get warm and cozy!) 🥰 The addition of Epsom salts and essential oils brings a whole host of their own benefits from relaxation to calming, stress relief, and more!

(p.s. when you choose essential oils, look for the ones labeled ‘Certified Organic’!)
