Good Morning Ladies!

Our first walk will be today Wednesday March 11th at 5:30pm. We will be meeting at the corner of New Jersey Ave and W Charles for those ready to join us! Can’t wait to see everyone!

Just wanted to stop by and introduce myself and talk a little bit about the page.

My name is Karalyn and I’m a preggo mom due in October. The joint and back pain has been unreal and sitting on the couch does NOT help! A friend of mine encouraged (more like forced 🤣) me to go on a “virtual” phone call walk around our neighborhoods and it was the best thing I could’ve done! For a while the pains of a growing, changing body stopped and I felt normal and healthy again!

I decided there had to be other pregnant or new moms who felt the same or just wanted other mini moms to connect with. So I posted looking for a walking buddy, within a few hours I had multiple responses and quite a few people in town supporting and encouraging the idea so now here we are! With a mommy walking group that’s probably cliche but SO very needed for our bodies and mental health.

Can’t wait to go on this journey with all of you and our littles!

Are you a toddler mom and JUST need some adult interaction that’s kid friendly? This is the group for you! Welcome to walking mamas, a safe place for other local moms to connect and find walking buddies in our area. You’ll be able to find a group and time that works best for you and stay active and strong. Our walks aim to be 30 minutes long all within the neighborhood so no travel time! Come in your pjs, come with spit up on you, just come out get some air and connect with other people!
