The Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act of 1994 (DSHEA) established the following regulatory procedures for such claims for dietary supplements:

Structure/function claims describe the role of a nutrient or dietary ingredient intended to affect normal structure or function in humans, for example, ‘calcium builds strong bones.’ Also, they may characterize the means by which a nutrient or dietary ingredient acts to maintain such structure or function, for example, ‘antioxidants maintain cell integrity.’

🍂 Fall is here!

Even though corn isn’t part of our supplement formulas, we grow it each year to create a fun tradition for our employees at Family Fall Fest.

Here’s how Kyle, our farm supervisor, makes it happen:
🌽 The design starts on paper, then gets mapped out in the field using GPS.
🚜 A small tractor and rototiller cut the paths, and a mower keeps them crisp until fall.
👨‍🌾 The goal? A simple, recognizable design that’s fun to walk, and even better to see from the air!

What’s the secret to success on the Standard Process organic farm?

🧑‍🌾 A team of farmers who are part grower, part mechanic, and 100% intuitive.

This week, while getting the h**p chopper ready, our crew spotted a chain that looked “just fine” to most eyes, but their seasoned instincts said otherwise. A quick check revealed a bearing that wouldn’t survive next week’s h**p harvest, so they swapped it out before it became a problem.

With nearly 200 pieces of equipment on the farm, that keen attention keeps everything running smoothly so we can make the most of every harvest. From seed to supplement, it all starts with keeping our gear in top shape! 🚜
