Nobody warns you that when you heal your nervous system, some people will take it personally 👀

When you stop being reactive, you stop being predictable.

And people who are used to you matching their energy - their panic and drama - don’t know what to do with your chill 💆‍♀️

Your calm reads as disagreement or rejection.
Your neutrality even makes them uncomfortable.

Because when you’re regulated, you become an observer.

You can see the chaos without being IN it, and you can hear the story without getting wrappped up in it.

Some people need your reaction. They NEED you dysregulated to feel validated 🤯

When you don’t give it to them, they’ll push harder, question you, project onto you, pull away, or even get passive aggressive.

It’s not a sign you’re doing something wrong. It simply means something is shifting 🔥

The people who are meant to be in your life will feel how grounding you are and appreciate it. Because you’re the one who doesn’t add to the drama - you’re the one who actually helps them think with clarity 👏

Your regulation doesn’t just change you - it literally changes the room.

Balanced isn’t the end goal 👀🤯

Life can be
Chaotic
Overwhelming
Busy
Hard
Exhausting
Mind-numbing

And if someone ever asks me how I’m doing, I’ll always say blessed & busy 💃

Because even if I’m having a hard day, it’s temporary, and there is so much to be grateful for 🫶

It’s not about balance - it’s about learning how to navigate the thoughts & emotions that come up in the chaos - which dictate your entire experience and perspective.

You can either throw fuel on the fire of struggle, or neutralize with grace, self, trust, and gratitude 👏

The most dangerous advice comes from people who’ve never lived your life, but speak like they have - and then project it onto you with an absolute.

When someone projects their ONE experience onto your entire future, that’s not truth (or wisdom).

It’s simply someone who has a limited perspective, and unconsciously (or conscious) wants to be known as the expert.

Absolutes sound like:
��”psychedelics are terrifying - don’t do it.”
��”Therapy didn’t work for me, so it won’t work for you”
��”That career path is miserable - I know someone who hated it.”
��”This is THE best way to do it”

One experience does NOT equal universal truth 🤡

Don’t let someone else’s fear be the ceiling on your life. Their story is limiting, and if you aren’t aware, yours will be, too.

Drop a 🔥 if you’ve had someone else’s “truth” almost talk you out of something that was actually right for you 👀

The top ways I regulate my nervous system as a former burnt out athlete + recovering workaholic 👇

🧘🏽‍♀️ Wind-down routine before bed - 20-40 min of meditation before bed (Joe Dispenza or Monroe Institute Hemisync) + sitting in silence after to fully clear my head

😴 Extra sleep - when my body is asking for rest, I actually listen. Not forcing myself to move when I don’t feel up to it IS nervous system regulation. Telling your body it’s safe to rest IS the work.

🫁 Somatic breathwork - this helped expand my capacity to feel emotions without being afraid of them, and MORE. Years of stored stress and emotions… released just through breath.

⛹🏼‍♀️ Intense movement - surfing, speed workouts, basketball… Moving hard gets me fully present in my body. (This used to be the ONLY thing I did to regulate - and it was actually working against me. Paired with everything else = Game changer ✅)

💉 Peptides - specifically a glow stack with GHKCU, under doctor’s supervision. Calming my nervous system was a surprising benefit I didn’t expect.

Most people think they just need a better breathwork routine.

But what if the reason you can't stay regulated has nothing to do with your nervous system at all? 👀

I spent years doing everything "right" - cold plunges, intense breathwork, all.of.it.

And I kept cycling back to the same anxiety, the same reactivity, and the same exhaustion 🫠

And also knowing it’s a choice 😊
Yes, you can feel all the things.
The difference if not dwelling on them.
Feeling them.
And then consciously choosing a new story and way of perceiving the situation.

If not, you are addicted to being unhappy. Struggling. Drama.
And you’ll stay there until you (and only you) decides to choose differently.

How is that truly serving you?

It you look at it this way, Kinda feels like we can pretty much do anything, right? 🧐

Any objection can be reframed. There are always ways of perceiving things outside of your awareness, but the ego just likes to hold onto what it knows & is familiar with.

If you want to progress or be different or truly do all the things you SAY you want to do… then watch your words and watch how your life begins to change 👀🔥

Use this phrase to check yourself, and you’ll never blame anyone or anything outside of you ever again
