When children can co-regulate with their grownups (parents, teachers, etc.), they focus at a faster rate, and take those self regulation strategies with them as they grow. Here are our favorite ways to co-regulate with children:

1. Bounce or tap their bodies to the beat (if they don't want to be held or touched, that's OK. Model movements for them).
2. Free dance to music--they want to showcase their own moves!
3. Try to follow their movements and have them follow yours. This builds trust as you synchronize heartbeats and brainwaves.

Young children NEED connection to focus, learn and thrive. Let's do this.

We had SO much fun this week learning more about farm animals, exploring instruments, and dancing our hearts out! I look forward to Week 5 of Big Red Barn with all of you!

NEXT WEEK we will be starting our new schedule of TUESDAYS ONLY. TUESDAYS at 9am and 10am! I Hope to see you here!

Hello Kindermusik Friends!

We are heading into Week 4 of our Big Red Barn series! I am excited to see you all this week Monday at 9am or Tuesday at 10am.

After a few weeks of testing and adjusting we have found a cozy space to help keep our little friends corralled and interested in our Kindermusik activities. I would love for you to come and see it!

We have 2 weeks left in our Big Red Barn series. Make sure you have checked out the Kindermusik app. If you are having any troubles accessing the App or have questions about classes please let me know!
