Behind the scenes: This is broody hen jail. The objective is to cool off the hen's body temperature so that they'll stop sitting on eggs. I've had 3 hens cycle through this week...two came out cured...one refuses to break. Since Annie is so determined to sit on eggs, and because she has no toes, I'll humor her. I've got a speckled olive egg that's going under her this afternoon and we'll see what happens!

Being in the egg business is like owning a fine China store...you cringe every time the children walk in, haha! We lost 4 yesterday during the "egg moving" game the little one was playing. But...the girls will be happy, those eggs will get scrambled and fed to them later today!
