Dr. Yu, an orthopedic spine surgeon at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, has been a dedicated contributor to the AO community, serving as faculty and co-chair for resident and fellows' spine courses.

Dr. Freedman, Chair of the Spine Surgery Division at the Mayo Clinic, is a nationally recognized leader in spine surgery and a retired Army colonel. In this role, he will focus on reinforcing the benefits of fellowship beyond the traditional one-year training period.
