It’s official! I have been asked to present at Nebraska’s Speech Langauge and Hearing Association’s annual conference this upcoming fall on Gestalt Language Processing.

I’ll be providing an introduction to both assessment and treatment strategies for GLPs within the Naturalistic Language Acquisition Framework and how you can implement this in both school and private practice settings.

AAC Halloween core boards & bracelets are here! ✨ 🎃

With Halloween tomorrow night, I have added a Halloween core board and core bracelet to my TPT store (link below).

Over the years, I’ve realized that there’s a lot to juggle on Halloween (costumes, candy, going to the houses, monitoring how much candy your kids are taking, keeping track of kids, etc.), and that having an AAC device for communication during this night, might be cumbersome. I’ve created some easy print outs for Halloween! Print, cut out & attach to your child’s Halloween bucket and wrist for easy communication access throughout the night of gathering candy.

Holidays should be enjoyed by all, and that includes EVERY child having access to each part of the holidays.

Exciting news! ✨

After two years of this private practice, I will now be working & seeing clients as an employee of Zier Institute in Omaha! Zier is a child-led, neurodiverse affirming, and prioritizes relationships to build upon child strengths. Speech services include AAC, language, pragmatics, and speech sound disorders.

Therapy hours will be after 4pm until December, when hours will be full time during the day.
