                                            Anger That Looks Like Sadness
I want to talk about the feeling of being mad, but all that comes out are tears. You feel like a warrior inside, ready to set a boundary, but on the outside, you look like you are having a breakdown. Does this happen to you?
If it does, please know that you are not weak. You are experiencing a very clever, yet complicated, somatic defense mechanism your nervous system learned a long time ago. Your intense, trapped anger energy is simply exiting through the only socially acceptable door: sadness.
Your body is telling you that the boundary has been crossed, and that message is sacred.
