🐸 Working on mobility in motion with the Frog!
When children use the Frog Mobility Device on their tummies, it’s not just crawling—it’s a powerful mix of strength, curiosity, and independence.
This device:
• Strengthens the shoulders, neck, and back through supported prone movement (thefrogfoundation.org)
• Offers real-time feedback via a teeter-totter frame, helping little ones push through with their arms
• Adjustable wheel positioning allows you to tailor how much effort each child needs to move, making it accessible and adaptable
• Invites autonomous exploration—letting kids discover their world, move alongside peers, and just be toddlers
• Is lightweight and mobile, working well on carpet, tile, wood floors, and even in tight spaces
✨ We used the Frog in conjunction with the Bamboo Brace to help arms remain straight during weight-bearing — giving extra support and making practice more successful!
This tool is ideal for children who can:
• Hold their head up for at least 15 seconds
• Use their arms to support themselves
• Are at least 6 months old and motivated to push forward
• Tolerate tummy time—or with caregiver modifications like extra padding, even trach/G-tube kiddos can get involved
