Wellness Wednesday 🌿 | Honoring Women’s History Month
March is Women’s History Month. A time to celebrate the strength, intelligence, and resilience of women past and present.
It is also a reminder that women’s health has not always been prioritized, studied, or fully understood. Many of us have been told our pain is “normal.” Our fatigue is “just stress.” Our mood changes are “just hormones.”
But our bodies are not inconveniences. They are intelligent systems.
At Love RX Organics, we believe education is empowerment. Here are a few common concerns many women face and natural supports that have been used traditionally:
🌿 Hormonal shifts (PMS, perimenopause, menopause)
Black cohosh has historically been used to support hot flashes and mood changes during menopause. Chasteberry may help support hormonal balance during menstrual cycles.
🌿 Stress and nervous system overload
Chronic stress affects sleep, digestion, and mood. Adaptogenic herbs like ashwagandha may help the body adapt to stress, while magnesium can support relaxation and muscle recovery.
🌿 Inflammation and chronic pain
Turmeric contains curcumin, known for its anti-inflammatory properties. Omega-3 fatty acids may also support joint and cardiovascular health.
🌿 Sleep disruption
Valerian root and chamomile have long been used to promote calm and improve sleep quality.
Natural does not mean automatic. It means informed, intentional, and aligned with your body. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional, especially if you are pregnant, nursing, taking medications, or managing a condition.
Women’s history is also the history of plant wisdom. Of grandmothers, midwives, nurses, and healers who understood that the body deserves care, not dismissal.
This week, honor yourself by listening to your body and choosing support that respects it.
