Practice what you preach! We all know the benefits of exercise but sometimes it’s just not priority on our full schedules. I really like the idea that “Little bits mean LOTS”. Little bits of exercise through your day can improve your health and mood. If you’re not sure where to start, visit your favorite Physical Therapist and they can lead you on the right path!

Feeling stressed? Deep breathing can help decrease heart rate and release endorphins that aid in decreasing stress and can even decrease pain. There are many apps that can help you work on this activity. The one I’ve linked is simple and you can customize the sounds and visuals to your preference. I recommend one minute of deep breathing focus at least twice a day. Try inhaling for 5 to 6 seconds followed by exhaling for the same time. Have a great work week!!
