The data on injuries in female athletes is impossible to ignore.

⚡ ACL tears: 2–8× more likely in women.
⚡ Iron deficiency: affects up to 60% of female athletes.
⚡ Muscle injury risk: 6× greater before menstruation.
⚡ Bone stress injuries, concussions & knee pain: 2× higher.
⚡ Sleep recovery disrupted: 3× as often.

These gaps don’t have easy answers, which is exactly why raising awareness and funding to help close the knowledge gap in women’s health research is a core Momentous initiative. The more we understand, the more we can change.

Women’s performance has been understudied, underfunded, and misunderstood for too long, and is doing something about it. We had the privilege of joining her and at his podcast studio for a live conversation covering the science behind how women train, recover, and thrive across every phase of life.
