EZ Lift Rescue Systems

EZ Lift Rescue Systems The EZ LIFT solution is a patient immobilization system that incorporates extendable handles that retract into a traditional rigid backboard when not in use.

EZ LIFT Rescue Systems designs, manufactures, sells, and services patient immobilization and lift systems that incorporate a unique, patented, lift and transport systems designed to minimize lift impacts to the back. The EZ LIFT Rescue System is a re-invention of the traditional backboard that EMS Rescuers have used to immobilize patients for transport for more than 50 years. These handles, when e

xtended, allow the FIRE / EMS responder personnel to lift from a safe position just below the knees which dramatically reduces knee stress and torque on the lower back, where most injuries occur, by raising the lift from the danger zone below the knees.

Our team is terribly saddened to hear...

Worcester Lieutenant Jason Menard was killed and three others injured while battling a four-alarm fire in a three-family home early Wednesday as he and colleagues searched for a baby reportedly trapped on the third floor. Menard leaves his wife and three children, officials said.

When America had an urgent need,
These brave ones raised a hand;
No hesitation held them back;
They were proud to take a stand.

They left their friends and family;
They gave up normal life;
To serve their country and their God,
They plowed into the strife.

They fought for freedom and for peace
On strange and foreign shores;
Some lost new friends; some lost their lives
In long and brutal wars.

Other veterans answered a call
To support the ones who fought;
Their country had requirements for
The essential skills they brought.

We salute every one of them,
The noble and the brave,
The ones still with us here today,
And those who rest in a grave.

So here’s to our country’s heroes;
They’re a cut above the rest;
Let’s give the honor that is due
To our country’s very best.

TACTICAL ATHLETE OF THE WEEK:

“My name is Chris Torres and I am an FDNY Firefighter from Brooklyn, NY.”
What got you into your profession: I've wanted to be a firefighter for as long as I can remember. My goal from the day I received my score on the test was to be in top physical shape in preparation for the academy which bought me to CrossFit, which ultimately became my job prior to getting hired.
What motivates you: What motivates me on a day to day, tour to tour, training day to training day basis is to be as prepared physically and mentally as possible for job that has inherent risks that firefighting does. Hence my motivation to start NYC: I Got Your 6 Fitness, which is a first responder fitness and preparation.
