One of my favorite quotes from Summer Camp (and maybe ever) is from a 7-year-old boy who attended Camp with his 5-year-old Autistic brother.

Now this is a kid that is being raised right! Makes me so hopeful for our future. I think it needs to be our new Camp slogan!! 🥰

First day of Dragonfly Summer Camp for 3-6 year olds!! Oyr theme for the first day was Popsicle Party! These groups were so enthusiastic and so fun!
Much to my surprise the Banana Popsicles were a HIT! They loved the decorating and the eating!
The campers enjoyed running ice cream shops, decorating Popsicles, playing in shaving cream and paint, dancing to music, listening to Pete the Cat ice cream story, finding the hatching alphabet popsicle and so much more!
What a great Monday kicking off our Summer Fun theme!
And I love when the kids say, "This is SO fun! Do I get to come back tomorrow?!" 😁

That is a wrap on our 2025 Ranch Camp for our 5-15 year olds!
This was the busiest week ever but so much fun! The campers were eager to engage in sensory play, cooking and baking, games, competitions, animals, and so much more!
We finished off the week with baking and delivering horse cookies (and peppermints!). We made a LOT of great horse (and goat!) friends during this adventure, and they wanted to follow us wherever we went, ha!
The older kids designed contraptions for their eggs and we had a super fun egg drop! They came up with some great designs and so many eggs survived!
The younger kids loved going on walks through the sensory gardens and finding items in a scavenger hunt which we then added to air dry clay to make sculptures!
Our cheerio marshmallow sheep were a bit of a bust today, but they sure did taste good!
The kids all seemed to have a wonderful time and we hope we can continue this super fun camp next summer!

Taking goats through obstacle courses. ✅️
Seeing if the bunnies can get the carrots dangling from the ceiling!✅️
Tons of sensory play, listening and dancing to music and all sorts of ranch related fun!✅️

What an amazing first day at Ranch Camp! 🐔🌱🎨
Day 1 was packed with nonstop fun — from painting flower pots and planting seeds to making delicious pudding dirt cups and frozen treats for the chickens! 🧁🐓 The bunnies even got their own custom castles thanks to some very creative campers, and we wrapped it all up with loads of sensory play and laughter.

We loved seeing some familiar faces and meeting so many new ones — what a fantastic start to the week! 💛 We’ve got so much more fun planned, and we can’t wait to do it all again tomorrow! 🐰🌞🐾

And that’s a wrap on our 6-week Summer Speech Intensive!
What an incredible group of campers — truly the best! Over the past six weeks, we’ve shared so many laughs, learned so much, and watched these amazing kids grow in confidence and communication. It was a joy to see how much they looked forward to coming each day, and the progress they made was inspiring.

When our families are happy, we’re happy — and our hearts are full. We’re going to miss this wonderful group, but we’re already looking forward to welcoming some of them back for future camps and continued adventures!

We have a few spots that have opened up in our Ranch camp being held at Affinity Ranch next week, July 21st-25th from 1 pm-4 pm. We are accepting anyone from age 8-14! 80% scholarships offered for DP families, 20% discount if you are private pay and register and pay in full before Friday!

Can't believe we are already entering our last week of our Speech Intensive summer program! This group has been SUCH a blast and we've been so busy with our new Transportation unit I've hardly gotten any pictures! They absolutely LOVED our group project of making "hot wheels city" and even many of our non-crafters got involved!
Only one week left until our Ranch Camp!

We wrapped up a lively Ocean week with loads of fun activities! The campers had an absolute blast choosing and identifying ocean animals and talking them through the stretchy tunnel "ocean" to put under the sea or feed to our stuffed Pelican and playing some great ocean and sand themed board games. We went on a scavenger hunt for ocean animals, whipped up and played with ocean foam, found treasures in the "beach sand table", used visual instructions to build a yummy bagel pizza and then retold the steps, created our very own ocean sensory bottles and so much more!

We are off for the holiday next week and we will wrap up our 6 week group with a fun Transportation theme!

It's been a wild start to my new full time job and I've already been knocked down by the back to school cold, but I finally have my little "homey" space mostly up and running!
So excited to host some of my speech kiddos in my new cozy basement office at my home (minus the dog and the kid photobombers of course!)! It's been a labor of love 😁
