The Aces are all about new beginnings and fresh starts. The Cups is water so this is bringing in the energy of creativity, intuition and emotions. Maybe it is time to get in touch with your inner self and allow yourself to feel everything you need to in order to move forward and break through any creative blocks that you may be feeling. By avoiding certain thoughts or feelings, we are really making whatever that is stronger. If we allow ourselves to feel the uncomfortable emotions this allows us to let it go. We cannot help painful things from happening but we can choose to not suffer. The Ace of Cups offers an opportunity to start again, start fresh and move forward. The 9 of Pentacles lets us know that this journey will be rewarded. Rewards can include better self-worth, financial independence and abundance. The 9 of Pentacles is a gentle reminder that doing with work is worth it. The work you do for yourself to better yourself is also good for the collective. We can’t change others, we can only change ourselves. Judgement is telling you to follow your heart. Honor what your higher self is trying to communicate to you. Judgement is the outcome. Judgement is the manifestation of where you put your energy and a mirrored look at what your intentions are. Are you doing things just to please others? Are you doing things just for the money? Are you taking unnecessary or unethical short cuts? Denial is powerful but you know the truth. The new year is right around the corner. It is a great time to evaluate what is important to you and purge what is no longer serving you. It is time to allow yourself stillness and peace so you can recharge and get back out there to do what you are meant to be doing. Your heart knows the truth and wants to communicate with you, now is the time to listen so you can move forward in alignment.
Hestia – Pronounced (hess’tee-ya) is so ancient a Goddess that she is invoked by simply lighting a fire in your hearth. She was central to civilization because she represented the center of the home, the community, the town, the city. No meal could be eaten without her, for she was the very fire that transformed the ingredients into nourishment. Conscripted into the Olympian pantheon, eldest Goddess Hestia gave up her seat and went to tend the hearth so the new God of ecstasy and wine, Dionysus, could be seated.
Hestia has come to tend her hearth fire in your life and to tell you it is time to focus on home. Whether you are living alone, with your family, or with friends, it is time to make your home a priority. Perhaps you are living in a house that is not your home or with people you don’t want to live with. Perhaps your home is filled with so many others that you have no space of your own. Perhaps your life is such a busy whirlwind that your dwelling is not your home, merely a place to change clothes and sleep. Now is the time to come home. Hestia says that wholeness is nurtured when you learn to come home to yourself and then to create the appropriate physical manifestation: a home that will nurture you.
Our Lady of Peaceful Change – Our Lady comes to you now to allay your fears. Everything is going to work out for the best. Even Significant – or perhaps unwanted – change can become surprisingly gentle when you trust in her protection and care. There is healing wisdom beneath what is unfolding, and your soul shall prosper from it in due course. Be kind to yourself, trust yourself, and trust in her. All will be well.
Source of Magic – Magic is not just for the fairies! You also are a source of magic! Every time you inhale and exhale, you breathe in the energy of Source, whether you call it God, Spirit, Divinity, Father/Mother…it is the source of all that is. It resides in everything in our universe and within your own body. As a human being on Earth you are endowed with the gift of manifestation. Through your thoughts, visualization, feelings and words, everything in your world you have thought into existence. Remember that what you focus on is what grows into manifestation. So be careful of where you place your attention. Like the fairies, bring as much joy and love into your heart and life as you can. Open yourself to receive. Think positive thoughts. Transmute negative feelings and thoughts into positive ones. If a negative picture should appear in your mind, replace it with a picture of positive input. Soon you will see how things begin to shift as your life becomes happier and full of wonderful new changes. Always ask that what you need be given is for your highest good. When something is for your highest good, then it is also for the highest good for others. No harm will come to others through your request. If it is not for your highest good, then it will not happen, and something better will replace it. You are the source of magic!
