Skip the boring salads and try adding some fun ingredients! The most important thing is to make sure you have protein to keep you full longer. Some good sources of protein:
✔️chicken
✔️shrimp
✔️hard boiled eggs
✔️black beans or chickpeas
✔️edamame

This quick lunch packs 37g of protein and is packed with fiber!

➡️ One bag of Green Giant Riced Veggie Blends
➡️ 3oz leftover grilled chicken (or 2 scrambled eggs to make vegetarian)
➡️ 1/2 cup chickpeas (or bean of choice)

Combine in a skillet and your done!

The holidays can bring a lot of stress and anxiety around food. No matter what your goals are it's important to remember that this is a time to enjoy family and loved ones. Who doesn’t love a chicken cutlet!? 😍 This baked version is definitely going to be a family favorite!

1️⃣ Combine Italian seasoned panko breadcrumbs with parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika and pepper.

2️⃣ Dip thinly sliced chicken breasts into an egg wash and then into the breadcrumb mixture.

3️⃣ Spritz with olive oil spray to get a golden brown color. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 mins, flipping halfway through.

Pair with your favorite salad. 🥗

Here’s what I do to make sure that my family and I are eating nutritious meals at home and not starving on the road:

1️⃣ Meal Planning - Every weekend we sit down, look at our schedules for the week and figure out which nights we can prepare food and which nights we need leftovers.

2️⃣ Meal Prep - We plan for what can go in the crockpot and when we can prepare a few different meals so we’re not eating the same thing every single day, but still have options.

3️⃣ Don’t freak out when things don’t go according to plan - You can plan every single week but the reality is that sometimes you need to grab something while you’re out or hit the drive thru! Flexibility is the name of the game!

At the end of the day - remember your plan doesn’t have to be perfect - it just needs to be a plan!
